"Time for tea," said the Queen and Konnie Huq, along with other ex Blue Peter presenters, went inside Buckingham Palace.The occasion was the 50th anniversary of Blue Peter so we saw the likes of Konnie Huq with John Noakes, Lesley Judd, Peter Purvis, Diane-Louise Jarvis and Valerie Singleton line up to be presented to the monarch.
And, of course, tea wouldn't be tea without cake. The royal chef baked a big one with white ice and the blue and white ship Blue Peter logo.
A good time was had by all.
