Konnie Huq's Best Holiday Hotel

Konnie Huq has been talking to Deany Judd of the Telegraph about her holiday experiences.

The best hotel she's stayed in? This is what she said:
"It was next to Ayers Rock in Australia. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, the scenery was stunning and we had dinner on a beautiful balcony – and when you looked up the sky was full of constellations. The rooms were amazing too – the beds were as wide as they were long. It just felt like a really special place."

Konnie Huq has been saying how she would like to do a travel programme on television. Her bikini is packed! Konnie said:
"I'd love to do a travel programme – they're so bland nowadays, it's like they only film them when companies give them good deals.

I was such a fan of the Rough Guide and then it went to Channel 5 and it became so rubbish. I'd like to take it back to what it was and go somewhere really unusual."

When asked by the Independent who her style icon was Konnie Huq replied, "Style is in the eye of the beholder, but for me style is someone like Brigitte Bardot."

Konnie also was asked who it was that made her laugh. She answered, "I don't usually eulogise about people, but I saw Russell Brand doing stand-up before he was really high profile. I didn't really know what to expect but I laughed until my belly ached. He was so funny and clever and witty; off-the-cuff and engaging."

Konnie Huq's Dilemma: A Brief History Of Time Or Heat Magazine?

Konnie Huq low cut dressIn an interview with the Guardian Konnie Huq tells about her reading habits:
"I've been trying to read Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time but it's hard to find the time to make myself concentrate properly. I read Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything so thought I'd try Hawking's book to remind myself of my background in science - I did physics, chemistry and maths A-levels.

I'm trying to start reading books that you gain knowledge from in order to challenge myself more. As a rule, I tend to read easy reading/populist-type books, but I don't feel like I'm learning enough. That said, I'm looking forward to reading Mark Frith's book about his time as the editor of Heat magazine."

So should she read A Brief History Of Timeor all about celebs in Heat Magazine? It must be a difficult decision for Konnie!
