Konnie Huq Will Carry Olympic Torch

Konnie Huq and seen David Walliams last weekThough it was previously in doubt Konnie Huq has now decided that she will carry the Olympic torch. She stresses, however, that this "does not in any way indicate support for the Chinese regime."

Konnie said, "I've decided to take part because I am committed to the Olympic ideals which reach out to people. I am also carrying the torch for London 2012."

Konnie will be one of an eighty strong team that will carry the torch from Wembley to the O2 arena.

    Hi, G , Do u really understand the meaning of word "Torch"? please ask most chinses their opinon about Tibet. then you have idea. Chinese welcome diferent vocals from different people, but tibet is part of China that always is truth!!!

    Jeez, give her some benefit for the doubt here. Her carrying the torch "does not in any way indicate support for the Chinese regime." Sounds more like one of those nebulous statements that famous people make to ward off criticism than an actual diss on China.

    Turn your vitriol on the Falun Gong, on the separatists, on the Beijing boycotters. Do not be indiscriminate in who you target, else you're no better than the Red Guards.

    We love peace and we support the Olympic. We welcome people all over the world to go to China but not people like u. U made all 1.3billion people sick.
